Again I could convince my gorgeous sister to be my model for my crazy ideas. To be honest, I had no idea what to do, neither what kind of make-up nor any kind of concept…so I just let myself go. The way I’ve done it-I mean the working process and the final result turned out as if I’ve been on cocaine and LSD. This work shows a dead nun. In my idea, such a graceful person, who is just following the Lord’s call, and putting her personal needs aside and sacrifices her life to God, when she is dead, such an admirable person turns into preciousness.

She always knows that when I say:” I’ve got an idea, and I think it will take me maybe 4 hours to do it”… she knows that it will take me 10 hours, like this project. Thank you very much!!!! THE RISE AND FALL OF ROCKY-JO

This is a story about a boy, a Rock-Star-boy, who is not just a little glimmer, but a rising star, living his life, fulfilling his dream…the life of Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’Roll, the lifestyle of the rich and famous. But at the time that he was just dreaming about a life like this, he didn’t think about the consequences it may bring. Sure, he can afford whatever he wants, Vogue became his holy book. He has got rooms packed with all the brand new clothes fresh from designers’ runways, drinking Louis Roederer Cristal everyday and wasting all his money to whatever comes to his crazy mind. But he didn’t think of the consequences before he chose that life. Next to all those nice, but shallow things that make him happy actually for just one moment, he has to cope with loneliness, fake friends, self-doubts, self-destruction and pressure to succeed. Is that all worth it, for a little fame?? Xx Armin G.

This time I’ve turned my gorgeous and beautiful sister in LA MADAMME DA LA COUTURE, inspired by the crazy and detailed make-up from DIOR COUTURE SHOWS at Paris Fashion-Week, combined with the sense of the old baroque ladies with their colossal with wigs which I’ve turned into a modern hat.

I’ve discovered a news paper, a really interesting one THE GERMAN VOGUE NEWS PAPER. But what I’ve missed, compared to an ordinary newspaper was anything critical. So I’ve decided to add some more topics…well, rather headlines than topics, something striking, just to complete the all in all really good news from the Vogue Magazine. Well, you can understand these topics that I’ve added either in a positive or negative way towards the powerful and popular fashion industry. It’s up to you! These pictures shouldn’t offend anyone, no - they should make people think about this whole business and some topics that are often not discussed.

SOPHIE - LA MADAMME SHINE

This is my most recent work that I have done! I was inspired by words of a stylist from this year’s LONDON FASHIONWEEK, who told me: i wear M.A.C super lickable lipstick, and IN 2010 – IT’S ALL ABOUT THE SHINE!

I’m very happy that I could convince my sister, Sophie, to be my model for that artwork. As we were talking about that project on the phone, I’ve told her that it would probably take me two hours to do that on her … my god, I was so wrong!! All in all took us six hours, from the first steps of painting the underground till the final pictures.
A very BIG THANK YOU to my lovely sister, for being so patient and so talented!! By the way…isn’t she just BEAUTIFUL!!!!

THE BEAUTY–ISSUE .. A SELF-PORTRAIT

This project is a self-portrait concerning about today’s handling of beauty surgeries. Didn’t it turn out like that, that we are going to the plastic surgeon in our lunch break, like we go to get some sandwiches? Plastic surgery isn’t just a phenomenon anymore, plastic surgery turned out to become national sport for those who can afford the costs, and for those who can’t…well, there is something called “credit”, that you can get at each bank around the plastic surgeon’s corner, right?!
